New bowl might aid WAC also-rans

Postseason odds for bad WAC teams just got a lot better.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that a group with ties to Salt Lake City have submitted a proposal that would bring the Rocky Mountain Bowl to the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium. The game, if approved, would pit a Mountain West Conference team against a WAC team. The proposed game has the blessing of the MWC.
