Apparently, Fresno State gunslinger/human turnover Tommy Brandstater has a new nickname.
The sun was shining. No one got hurt. And Touchdown Tommy Brandstater looked really freaking good for one series."Touchdown" Tommy Brandstater? Seriously? We and the official WAC statistics would like to disagree:

Here are some we just came up with off the top of our heads: "Turnover" Tommy Brandstater, "Tackling Dummy" Tommy Brandstater, Tommy "I thought he was wearing red" Brandstater, Tommy "remember the good old days of Paul Pinegar" Brandstater, and our personal favorite Tommy Brandstinker.

ReplyDeleteIt's sort of like why I did the "Uncle Rico" comparison w/Fresno.
Those guys somehow think that being the "preseason favorite" (and that's debatable) automatically means they will have the #1 offense and a first team WAC player at every offensive position.
They'll probably have a good running game and a pass attack that you have to respect. But not a pass attack you have to fear.
Thanks for catching the Brennan typo, Drew. Math was never our best subject.
