Jadon Dailey your new Bronco color commentator

Former Boise State center Jadon Dailey will be joining Bob Behler in the KIDO booth this fall.

Idaho Radio News has the scoop:

“The addition of Jadon to our broadcast team will add an insight unique to the Broncos,” Peak Broadcasting’s SVP Kevin Godwin said in a prepared statement. “His recent experience with this team will provide listeners with a vivid description of all the action from start to finish.”
Dailey was excellent on the Out of the Blue documentary, and he should bring a lot of fun to the radio broadcasts. Congratulations, Jadon.

We wonder if the Statesman will ask him if he saw the Fiesta Bowl?

  2. For all the dawdling Peak did, I must admit that they seem to have put together a great team. Behler + Dailey = a bright future.

  3. I respectfully disagree...you are going to let a rookie in the business earn his chops on the fly....tough gig for Jadon, but he might get a hall pass for being a bsu alum and only has to follow up Jeff Caves. I guess I expected more to equal Behler.

  4. Interesting, StatueL. I had not heard any concern about Dailey yet (as referenced in the links story today), so I'm glad to hear you say how you feel.

Here's a theory: Peak hired Jadon as a PR move to make Bronco fans happy and make themselves look better. Maybe?

I still think he'll do a good job, but I understand your concern about experience, especially when sitting next to Mr. Bob Behler, esq. I'd be curious to hear more of your thoughts on the subject.

  5. future podcast topic, perhaps

Jadon has as much exp. as the collection of BSU bloggers do, hope it works but.....hope Behler is coaching him up. I wonder what % Behler had in picking his co-host.
