WIR: 500 isn't old if you're a tree

Week in Review (WIR) was happy to have another busy week of Bronco football, and with a scrimmage tomorrow night (6:00pm at Bronco Stadium, in case you hadn't heard), the good vibes will continue into the weekend.

Also, the good vibes will continue into Monday, when we reveal our big surprise. Is it an OBNUG video game? Are we joining forces with Murph's Turf? Is this site going public? Stay tuned and find out on Monday.

Here are the best stories from the past week:

See you at the scrimmage, Bronco fans.

WIR: Bronco Nation rejoice, football returns

Week in Review (WIR) had a wonderful summer vacation, thanks for asking. But now there's work to do. First off, about the weekend. The Broncos will be practicing Saturday and Sunday, and here are some places to go if you need a fix of Bronco news. (We're pretty sure you could have found these on your own; we just like mothering you.)

This week was the busiest yet at OBNUG, as we cranked out 26 posts in five days. Hello, early onset carpal tunnel syndrome! Here are the best posts from the last week:
We'll see you bright and early on Monday morning. Have a good weekend, Bronco fans.

WIR: Clady gets drafted, Tadman gets ignored

After the exciting NFL draft, Week in Review (WIR) is realizing the long summer that lays before us. Surely we can all get through this together.

Meanwhile, a wrapup of a busy week:

Have a great, albeit boring weekend Bronco fans!

WIR: NFL Draft countdown

Week in Review (WIR) is looking forward to OBNUG's live-blog of the NFL Draft tomorrow. With Ryan Clady going in the first few picks, the excitement is palpable. Or is that our mondo nacho platter? Either way, tomorrow should be fulfilling.

Here is the best from the past week:

See you for tomorrow's live-blog, Bronco fans.

WIR: Spring ends, Public Enemy nears

Week in Review (WIR) has loads of loathing for all the candidates on OBNUG's Public Enemy #1 list, which has made choosing between the six candidates extremely difficult. Still, debating the villains has provided a good dose of relief for the long, football-less summer ahead. Maybe we'll just drag this thing on until August.

Here is the best from the last week.

Have a great weekend, Bronco fans. We'll see you on Monday for some NFL draft talk.

WIR: Spring football comes to a close

Week in Review (WIR) can hardly believe that spring football is over already. After the Blue and Orange game tonight, there will be no more Bronco football until August. Thank goodness for NCAA Football '05 on the Gamecube.

We'll see you all tonight at the Blue/Orange game, and we'll have a hastily-written recap later this weekend. See you then, Bronco fans.

WIR: Radios and scrimmages

Week in Review (WIR) feels that the big news about the Boise State radio contract has taken quite a bit of attention off of the Broncos' spring practice. This afternoon is the second public scrimmage, and it seems to be flying under the radar.

Not our radar. We have had this date circled since it was announced, and we can't wait to see how the Broncos are progressing. Our prediction: touchdowns, tackles, and turnovers. Not necessarily in that order.

In the meantime, here is the best from the last week.
We'll post a scrimmage recap later tonight, and we'll be back with much more scrimmage talk on Monday. See you then, Bronco fans.

WIR: Thank you, Tad Miller

Week in Review (WIR) sure missed football this week, but the great Tad Miller made the lack of spring practice much more bearable. His interview was just what we needed to get us through until Monday, when the Broncos hit the field again. We plan on talking to him often through the long summer.

See you next week, Bronco fans.

WIR: spring football has sprung

Week in review (WIR) celebrated the return of Boise State football by refreshing Chadd Cripe's Bronco Beat blog every five minutes on Monday, hoping for an update. It was worth waiting until 6:50p.m.

See you next week, Bronco fans.

WIR: Godspeed, spring football

Week in review (WIR) can't wait for the start of spring football on Monday. Now OBNUG can finally stop making up news stories.

Have a great weekend, Bronco fans. Looking forward to Monday!

WIR: Breaking news and Broncos' schedule

Week in Review (WIR) feels that OBNUG has raised the bar for other WAC football blogs after this week's scoops on Orlando Scandrick's mood and the Idaho Statesman's misprint. Of course, the bar was pretty low to begin with.

Have a great weekend, Bronco fans. Start planning those road trips to away games. We'll have a lot more Bronco schedule coverage next week.

WIR: Photojournals and the combine

WIR (Week in Review) was thrilled to see the fancy new stadium addition and ecstatic that there was no security around to keep people off the field. By the way, if someone is missing an orange chair come football season, we are meaning to give it back; we just haven't got around to it yet.

Have a great weekend Bronco fans. Watch more Combine than you should.

WIR: Boise State football with love

Week in Review (WIR) is very glad the writer's strike is over because watching Deal or No Deal was starting to get pretty old pretty fast.

Dave Tester's mugshot from hell.
Kudos to the Statesman.
Scandrick going to the combine.
We couldn't be more over Sean Renfree.
Grading WAC recruiting classes.
Southern Miss still on the schedule.
Marty Tadman forever.
Hawaii's rings of power.
Vote, vote, vote.

See you all next week.

WIR: Signing Day Bonanza!

Week in review (WIR) was really excited about the Letter of Intent Day event at the Big Easy in downtown Boise. But then it realized that the whole event was centered around two guys talking on the radio.

--Glendale's magic powers.
--Sign on the dotted line.
--The future looks bright...the WAC's future? Not so much.
--Say hello to the two-time Idaho player of the year.
--Nevada over BSU? Seriously?
--Shields out indefinitely.

Have a good weekend, Bronco fans. See you Monday.

WIR: Childs, Zabransky, and the birth of a blog

Week in Review likes it when there are Broncos in the news, even if it is just Broncos being drafted by leagues that won't exist in two years. We'll take what we can get.

--OBNUG's first post, and a new generation of Bronco football begins.
--Zabransky to the Steelers...and Pittsburgh fans rejoice.
--Jeremy Childs will return to the team.
--Cheating: not all that bad when you consider the alternatives.
--KBOI will have to fight...for its right...to brooooaaadcast!

We'll be back on Monday. Enjoy the weekend.
